Yooooo, I wish I could write fanfic for a paycheck, too, but I also know I’d only make like $3 a week because I already have all the time in the world (my normal job is 90% passive/10% active) and don’t get anything done, sooooooo I think if you had the time, you’d be killing it because you actually have spirit and I am just lazy 🐼

Hahahah I don’t know about spirit; I think it’s more like sheer freaking stubbornness. But listen, maybe you need to find just the right thing that motivates you! Maybe that fic is out there somewhere. 🙂

Favorite line you’ve ever written.

Oh man. I feel like I know the exact one. I was most proud of myself (like, good job self, this is the kind of content you want to write) for this bit from Threshold, Chapter 3 “Words On A Stone.”  I’ve attached a bit of the context, and I’ve highlighted the line in bold: 

A year before, they’d made this same trip back to Hux’s childhood home holding hands in the pouring rain, shoes made heavy by the sucking red clay mud, chilled to the bone in the middle of the summer.

This time, though the sky is burgeoning with restless clouds driven along on an eastern wind, the sun stays overhead, the afternoon as warm around them as a blanket. Once again, they are both alone and together with their thoughts on the way back. Hux with memories of his father, perhaps, and Ben thinking about the way life always seems to be caught somewhere between leaving things behind and starting things anew.

Like maybe people don’t really ever cross that threshold, but keep one foot in the past to remind them where they’ve been, even if they’re facing forward and happy with where they’re going.

Awww thank you darling! I think I unfortunately just come home that way after work too often. My job is pretty hard, with a lot of dealing with people having troubled times and also a lot of being put in situations where I’m expected to help and can’t. I don’t have a lot of steam when I get done, and then there’s not much left for writing, so I constantly feel like I’m not keeping up. This is such an encouraging message, so thank you very much. ❤

Hi, are you planing to write some new fic?

I’m trying to stay away from starting new projects right now, as I have four ongoing WIPs that I’d like to finish first. Two of them are wrapping up relatively soon, and one of them will probably last me through the winter at the rate I’m going. After that, I’d definitely like to still be inspired to write Kylux fics! I have a few ideas for new things. 

Hopefully my old fics will keep being interesting until then.

Hey, would it be too personal to ask your name because if it’s not, I’d love to know your name as I read all your works again I’d like to think OH! She has written so beautifully and cherish the moment with your name. Okay I didn’t mean to sound creepy but it’d be nice to think of your name as I read your words. Lovingly, gravity always wins.

I’m really curious about the end of this ask! “Lovingly, gravity always wins” is an interesting little sentence and I’ve been convinced it’s a code for something lol. FILL ME IN!

Oh man, there are some good fics out there I always look forward to! Some of them that I will grab off my subscription list are: 

Dollars To Donuts by @heyktula 

I dive into this one pretty much the minute it updates. The equal parts tender and awkward and steamy romance between Kylo and Armitage has saved my soul from many a bad day.

First Love, Late Spring by @hollyhark is a completed fic, BUT there’s a new installment in the works that I AM JUST REALLY DYING TO READ, so I can’t wait for Holly to gift us with it! 

Five A Day by @irisparry has new chapters that pop up whenever Iris is inspired by a particular fruit or vegetable, and I love the Kylo and Hux so much in this collection. 

@ellabesmirched has written this amazing collection of stories for her series Mod About You , and I love every single one of them and am always hyped for more of their adventures. Her Kylo and Hux have the most incredible chemistry.

Odds of Survival by @marzarelo is absolutely killer. It’s an edge of your seat, poignant fic about Kylo and Hux surviving the zombie apocalypse, and I am heavily invested in these characters.

Likewise, @h3llcat ‘s zombie series To The End is such a refreshing and creative take on the characters, especially the Knights of Ren, and I can’t wait to read what she writes next.

On Chandrila, You Can Have Anything You Want is a fic by @agent-nemesis that I am really into, and am looking forward to seeing where it goes!

@momoformisha ‘s Fierce Machines is one I absolutely love. The author has an incredible way with words and I’d probably read a fic written by them about any subject. Even something like grass growing.

Like A Wave, I Crashed Against Your Shore by @pangolinpirate is such a good and pure story and I am really stoked for the stuff she has planned for it! Pangolin also has a story called In Your Debt that she SAYS is finished for now but I’m convinced she’s going to write more! >:)

If you could recommend one kylux fic which has lots of feels, character in depth, and maybe quality sex which would it be? (Won’t mind if it’s one of yours too!) (:

Awwwwwww dang it nonny, I couldn’t pick just one! Check out my bookmarks on AO3! There are a lot of fics in there with those qualities! I’ve been collecting these bookmarks for years, and I’m always adding fics!

(I’ll take recommendations myself for this kind of story hahah!)

The new chapter of Gravity well is Soo good! :) I really enjoyed the description and their banter and some parts of the chapter made me pause and re-read coz it’s just… 🤷‍♂️ So well written and I connected with it.. the cliffhanger has me biting my nails and Kylo actually planned to do with Hux using the force😼

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! THANK YOU! Believe it or not I’ve been planning that particular cliffhanger since I conceived of the story back in January lol. I analyzed and re-read all that dialogue about 50 times to make sure there weren’t holes or parts that didn’t make sense or just…out of characterness so I’m glad it worked for you!!! 

Hux really wants to know what Kylo was trying to make him do that he just did NOT want to do, but he’s going to be a little to shell-shocked to ask for a couple of chapters. Kylo is going to have time to reflect on what it means, after he recovers. 

And Hux has FINALLY realized how much of a badass Kylo Ren really is.
