I wanted to try out a new color pencil but then I also wanted to draw Hux from Dollars to Donuts by @heyktula so this happened. I’m sorry I got the glasses wrong ToT’ I saw that they’re supposed to be thick-rimmed when I looked up the colour of the shirt.
!!!!!! YES PERFECT THIS IS PERFECT.!!!!!
The expression on his face is absolutely amazing, just look at him!! And his shirt and his hair and his glasses and and and.
This made my day, thank you so much. It reminded me of this line from the next chapter!!!
“If Ren reaches for that tube of awful opaque carbon black one more time, Armitage is going to go over there and upend his easel.”
someone asked me whether I’m more likely to pursue happiness or meaning and I’m like, ugh, neither, I just want eight hours of sleep, Kylux, and a fuckton of sandwiches. I don’t even have to be happy with all the sandwiches.
So I’ve posted about this before, but I’m looking for some feedback from all the new folks too!
I’m planning to organize a Kylux fest for this summer, and I’d like to hear what you guys would like to see!
I would like to avoid pairings in general, as I feel like it puts way too much pressure on both parties. I’m hoping to see something that acts like a Big Bang (a lot of writing and art at once), but doesn’t hold folks accountable if things get in the way and they can’t finish, things don’t work out with the pairing, etc etc.
We could have themes? What would be the impetus to participate? I would be willing to consider forming a printed book for folks to purchase / receive a copy of if they participate?
Lemme know folks! PM me, inbox me, holler at me on Twitter, send me certified mail. Whatever works.
