When I’m feeling frustrated with fandom, I usually find the best thing I can do is step back from the people/things that are irritating me, and do something creative and ignore the grumpy bits as best as I can.
So tonight I did this moodboard for @gefionne‘s Flyboys because digging around for images is kind of therapeutic and this Kylux World War II AU hits my World War II historical fiction love, my Kylux love, my slow burn love, and I’ve been kind of obsessed with it since I read the first chapter.
Flyboys is kind of breathtakingly beautiful, and I love the characterizations in it, and also history yay, and thank you for writing it and sharing with us @gefionne.
This is so lovely! The aerial view of the countryside is particularly perfect, since it’s what they fly over all the time. And the barn……….yeeeeeah. Seriously, though, this is perfect! Thank you so much.

Last year on this day, March 19 2016, I posted my very first fic ever in my life. It’s called I’m Not There and it’s breathless and silly but it was a start. The picture above is a commision from @kevin-the-chicken and it’s gorgeous, I love their faces.
I promise I won’t leave any fics unfinished – maybe someday you’ll even see the fabled chapters three and four of Handbook for Practical Daemon Keeping, who knows!
