For Huxloween Day 7: Spell Gone Wrong

When Kylo’s attempt to cast a very powerful, very dark spell goes awry, he accidentally calls up more than he bargained for: an ancient demoness of overwhelming supernatural power. She’ll grant him the strength he’s looking for, but only at a price.

When Hux goes to investigate reports of a citizen in distress, he finds more than he expected: a naked, lust-crazed, half-possessed witch begging for his touch. He doesn’t believe in magic, but this guy says he’s going to die if Hux doesn’t give him what he needs.

Summary:

Modern AU: Hux and Kylo have been best friends since high school, that’s why it’s no surprise that when Hux gets invited to the Organa estate for Leila’s birthday they’re placed in the same room because all the others are taken. They share Kylo’s old room and they’re thankful he’s always been big and had a big bed. They get nostalgic about the time they spent there and their unspoken crushes come out at full force. Leia has the “It worked” Look when the next morning they’re acting like drunk in Love teens.

The wrongness continues as he realizes the mission doesn’t exist, the Finalizer is in the wrong sector of space, the training program is years behind schedule, the Hosnian System is whole and functioning, and no one has heard of Kylo Ren.

Hux’s ironclad confidence is compromised, and he decides the only remedy is to go out and find Ben Solo and recruit him to the First Order all over again. And again. And again.
