You might have noticed that I deleted the previous version of this chapter because I felt really bad about it, but I rewrote / reworked it and now i’m a lot happier. I wanted to put it online again while I’m working on the rest of the story.

Chapter 4, in which Ren is smart whether Hux likes it or not, plans are made to assist all planets in bowing to the First Order, the duo heads out to conduct some shady business on Nar Shaddaa, and Ren forgets to bring a gun.
Kylo Ren and Armitage Hux are now the human machinery behind the First Order, but antipathy and years of contention hold them back. If they can escape the backward pull of their mutual dislike, the galaxy lies in wait before them.
Let the past die.
