The Knights of Ren are one of the most successful punk bands of their generation. They are on the top of the world, but Kylo struggles with his own demons, which are taking their toll on the band. Destruction seems to follow him wherever he goes, and the label just can’t foot the bill any longer.
Armitage Hux is an image wizard. He can salvage the reputation of even the most reckless of celebrities. Or at least he thinks he can, until he’s hired by the label to fix Kylo’s public image and get him to step in line.
Both men are stubborn and used to getting what they want. Sparks fly as they butt heads and put each other through their paces, but as Kylo’s control continues to slip, could Hux’s influence be exactly what he needs? And as Hux’s patience frays, could he be missing something vital to understanding how Ren operates?
Light-headed still, and out-of-tune with his own movements, he pitches towards Armitage. It’s only when they stand nose-to-nose that he recognizes what he’s done.
Armitage, recognizing their abrupt proximity at the same time, falls silent.

Omg friends if you haven’t read this fic please go read this fic. I really almost died reading it. It’s so well orchestrated, from plot to delivery, with a brilliantly characterized Kylo and Hux. I got intense butterflies quite often, got teary, was just. Guh. Go read it.

The man, Kylo Ren, unfurled himself from his office chair and stood to shake Hux’s outstretched hand. Hux focused on keeping his expression neutral, faced with the impressive height and bulk of the man in front of him. He could already feel that terrible, horrible, no good, very bad part of himself perk up at the tableau before him: the man was wearing slacks with no creases, a wrinkled button down with the top few buttons undone, and no tie. His eyes were dark, his features were oddly proportioned, and his hands were enormous.

And honestly, it was very much me shouting into the void due to my newfound interest in Attack on Titan, until the lovely El hopped on board and was able to work her magic and turn it into such an interesting and compelling story! I’m so grateful for her and her work, and I can’t wait to work with her on future chapters!
Ren had touched every part of Hux and Hux had touched every
part of him in return. It was reciprocal release and vulnerability in a way
that was far more intimate than anything Hux had experienced with those who’d
shared his bed over the years. Sometimes he wanted more, to make it messy in a
way he’d sworn he wouldn’t and throw sentiment
into the mix as well. It was foolish, he knew, to want such a thing, especially
with Ren. But that didn’t stop him from occasionally wondering what would
happen if he tried, even if the most likely result was to ruin what felt like a
very fragile truce.
Basically Kylo and Hux have an arrangement where they feed each others touch starvation with non-sexual intimacy sessions, taking turns just touching each other. Because I wanted some Soft and touch-starvation fics are literally my favourite thing ever
The most charming detail of all was a nod to modesty– more of a tease than anything else– in the form of a sheer veil that draped down from the collar and did absolutely nothing but highlight the bare torso and flatter the stiff nipples just beneath the fabric.
“Kylo,” he whispered, running a finger down that broad chest for the pleasure of feeling silk over firm muscle.
Hux went down on his knees before his beloved so that he leaned into his lap and then playfully slipped his head beneath the veil.
Kylo has kept to the shadows since an attack left him scarred, both physically and emotionally; however, the chance to interact with others behind the safety of a mask brings him to a ball. There he meets an officer seemingly immune to his manipulations of the Force. Hux also seems immune to Kylo’s not so subtle barbs.
When Hux propositions him, Kylo must decide whether inviting this man into his bed is worth the risk of revealing the extent of the damage done to him.
