I’ve always thought Kylo might have a temporary change of heart and spare one of the heroes that will in turn save the day in ep9. It might not be enough to redeem him but it might be enough that when he’s captured they might spare his life in turn. I predict exile, most likely on Luke’s fish nun Force island. That way he’s not a danger to others and he’ll be there if they need him for later installments. Plus he can study the Force and possibly become more powerful if they need his help later.

I actually really love this idea too. Having him “out there” somewhere just gives me hope that some day he will show up again in another film, or a comic book, or somehow he can go on. He’s too awesome of a character to end. I am actually really hoping for Anakin’s ghost to show up and talk some sense into him / give him some much needed, positive guidance, and exiled on an island like that, especially one “strong with the Force” like Ach-to, it might be more likely that his ancestors and Force masters of old would at least keep him company and help him grow. ❤

I’m going with: After having an absolutely miserable time trying to make the Supreme Leader thing work, Kylo critical fails a redemption through death plan and someone takes pity on him, shoves him in an emergency escape pod and sends him careening off to parts unknown. It might be wildly implausible but it’s getting me though lol

YES ANON, I like this theory! I like the idea of his effort to redeem himself being incomplete and a seeming failure. That’s very fitting. I need him to survive. 😭😭😭

A somewhat surreal painting of Kylo and Armitage in bed. I imagine this takes place sometime after Hux rescues Ren, while he is still recovering from his injuries. Hux works late often and occasionally visits Kylo in the sickbay to give him status reports by the orders of Snoke. Kylo, in a delirious state, begins to feel a greater attachment to Armitage and even wishes to confide in him, although afraid of how the other would respond. After much resistance, Ren manages to persuade Hux to sleep beside him as a way of comfort. While finding this strange, Armitage too has long suppressed desires for companionship and a close attachment with another human being, even to be held, never thinking that such a person might be Ren. They talk late into the night. The stage of innocence for their relationship.
